Creative Storyteller & Writer
Sharing my love of storytelling through a collection of scripts, stories, and satirical journalism.
About me
I am a writer and creator from San Diego, CA, with a four-year stint at the University of Iowa in Iowa City. Storytelling in all its forms is something I adore, and over the years I've honed my ability to write in a variety of lengths and styles. I especially enjoy writing dialogue, as well as diving deep into a character’s psyche and writing from their individual voice.
I love meeting new people, so feel free to reach out! Bonus points if you're a fellow enthusiast of TV series, cooking (more accurately, eating), travel, cocktails, board games, hockey, or comedy.

Character in-development
I like to view life with the philosophy that everything is a rough draft. In other words, everything you do presents an opportunity to improve. When writing in any genre or style, the goal is to get to a point where the piece is as close to perfect as possible. Obviously, a lot of work goes into getting a story, a script, or a headline to that stage. Through this work, lessons for improvement can always be found, and the process becomes easier over time. It’s essentially failing forward, which I’ve found is the best way toward personal growth.
This outlook has been a guiding principle in my life and has encouraged me to become someone who loves to learn, experiment, and grow. It’s the reason I pour so much effort into everything I take an interest in. It has allowed me to understand that just about anything can be achieved with enough work, with enough drafts. All you need to do is complete the first one.
