Assignment:
Create a 30 second video promoting the University of Iowa Equipment Checkout service for film students and journalism majors. I was responsible for writing, directing, and editing the final product. I also interviewed the client to learn what was important to them and which aspects of the service they wanted to promote.
Approach:
I tried to focus the ad on the opportunities the checkout service offers and promote the perfect match that this service provides to all types of creative thinkers. The tagline “come check us out” was an opportunity for our client to look at this as a broader campaign, beyond the classroom assignment.
